  • Strategist for presenting content to target audience by identifying relevant content topics, delivery format, channels and depth of content required to meet their needs.
  • Collaborated with User Experience team to devise better methods of information presentation.
  • Developed content strategies for Web sites and complex applications to meet business objectives and user needs.
  • Principle writer for the main product licensing information. This required taking a leadership role in providing direction and guidance for the business units adopting the common licensing technologies, including audience analysis, content strategies, information split, etc. I attended all management meetings and third party quarterly business reviews. Information was written in XML using XMetaL software and single-sourced from the Astoria content management system. Possible output formats are PDF, .chm, and HTML (for the online content).  
  •  SharePoint Administrator for a SharePoint site repository for cross-company teams to access and receive information, tools, and guidance for their migration to the standard and central tools (such as the Astoria component content management system). Provided troubleshooting and trained users how to use SharePoint.
  • Web Publisher for the eDocs (Eclipse infocenter) external online documentation library (citrix.com/edocs) which is the customer site for all product documentation. This included coordinating weekly update releases and additional product releases with cross-company teams and the Web Services department and troubleshooting issues with eDocs and the content teams.
  • Project Manager for work with outside vendors for eDocs development which included framework changes to Eclipse and XSLT changes.  Involved in all points  in the cycle (from the selection of agencies/consultants to working with the Finance dept., to managing the projects from beginning to end, and even testing the work).
  • Worked with cross-divisional teams to aid in the coordinating of their product releases to ensure that they delivered on-time and provided documentation that aligned with the company’s vision for its core documentation.
  • Managed a team of permanent and contract writers and Word software support personnel.
  • Quoted on projects.
  • Wrote manuals and on-line help, edited all deliverable documents.
